This is just a glimpse of the footage I captured yesterday at Usain Bolt's homecoming to Kingston after his 3 gold medal, 3 world record performance in Beijing. He arrived at the airport to a large crowd of government officials, media, family, friends, and airport staff. Then we rolled through Kingston in a motorcade, which was pure chaos. The streets were lined with people dancing, waving flags, and striking the "To Di World" pose. By the time Usain's car arrived at the Pegasus Hotel the lobby, parking lot, and road outside were absolutely packed with people. The police had to bull rush Usain through the doors and into the elevator. (As you'll see in the video, I went along for the ride.) After cooling off in the Trelawny Suite with some buckets of KFC and mango/carrot juice, we headed up one floor for Usain's first press conference back on Kingston soil.
